PIONEERS
On August 8th we returned from a week-long Candidate Orientation Program with
Pioneers, a missions organization based out of Orlando, Florida. At the end of the week
we accepted their invitation to partner with them in reaching the deaf with the gospel.
They are especially encouraging to missionaries who use innovative means to spread
the gospel, which makes our calling such a good fit with them.
SURVEY TRIP
We will be spending four weeks in Guatemala, August 19-Sept 15, in order to
accomplish several important things:
• Identify effective and creative ways to reach the deaf
• Determine the cost of living for us personally as well as the initial start up costs for
the ministry
• Team build with our Guatemalan partners
• Find deaf children!
• Start a Sunday School class and hold a training program for the teachers
CONTRIBUTIONS
Now all donations can be sent directly to Pioneers. If you are currently donating or would
like to begin donating, please fill out the response card and mail to the address on the
bottom of the card. All donations are tax-deductible and receipts will be sent out by
Pioneers. Please be sure our name and account number, 111388, are with all
donations.
If you would like to use an easy and secure electronic
form of donation, please fill out the electronic funds transfer
(EFT) form and mail to the address on the form. Please include
our name and account number on this form as well.
