Evangelism & Church Planting

The internship program consists of monthly "Experiences" and "Choices." During the
Evangelism & Church Planting month, our Experience will be to visit a local Deaf church
plant. However, just visiting would be only half of the Experience! We will complete the
experience with assisting the deaf pastor in his work. It could be providing advanced bible
training classes, planning a men's retreat or women's retreat, or doing a work project for
their ministry. Each year it will vary depending on the need of the pastor and his church.

If the opportunity is offered, we will also visit a deaf work in Los
Mochis, Mexico. A wonderful, Christian couple has a Christian
school with a little different twist...they also accept handicapped
children and even children who are not deaf. However, ALL the
children learn sign language! This is a great opportunity to see
another way to do deaf ministry. The interns in 2012 will be
able to spend 2 weeks in Los Mochis! Check out the blog to
